Rehabilitation Programme

The SMSS has taken steps for rehabilitation of adult orphan girls, who, after completion of the study, can be inducted into the textile training activities. This will provide them livelihood support in the future and they can be self dependent. At present 15 such girls are getting training in textile design in the training cum production centre (textile), which has been set up in the campus of Shishugre, Bhubaneswar. They are being trained in block printing, screen printing, tie & dye, embroidery etc. Plans are also afoot for providing them training in the printing of typical art design on the screen which can be used as cards. This scheme is financed by Amigos De Odisha, Spain.
